Carry all the documents mentioned in the admit card.
Check your date and reporting time.
Reach before the reporting time.
Prepare a basic introduction about yourself, including your academics, hobbies, strengths and weaknesses.
Support your answer of Why this course with your career goals, interests and what this course offers and how the subjects and specializations are aligned.
Make sure that your dress up properly for this interview round.
Greet the jury, be humble and be confident.
Voice modulation is very important.
Take care of your body language.
Read about your hometown, crafts from your state, ministers, recent events.
Read about brands, designers, and why you like them.
Read about sustainability (name a few brands), luxury brands in India, latest technology in fashion and retail, homegrown brands.
You might be asked about your backup in case you don't make it to NIFT this year.
You may be asked about your centre preference. You need to answer it smartly.
Read basics about your graduation subjects.
At last, they are there to select you, not to reject you! Just be confident, carry a smile, be humble!
